Who We Are
Welcome to our Highland haven!
Located in the scenic countryside of Penn Laird, Virginia, our family-run farm has proudly stood for over 100 years, passed down through generations with a deep love for the land, the animals, and our local community. While our roots run deep in tradition, 2025 marks an exciting new beginning on the farm.
For the past 26 years, we’ve been home to a beloved pumpkin patch each fall — a seasonal favorite for families near and far. This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a new experience to the farm: our adorable micro and mini Scottish Highland cows!
These pint-sized versions of the iconic Highland breed are just as charming — with their shaggy coats, gentle eyes, and friendly personalities — but in a smaller, even more huggable package. And now, you can meet them up close through fun, hands-on activities like:
Bottle Feeding – Help us care for our youngest calves with bottle feeding sessions that are as sweet as they are memorable.
Brushing Visits – Spend peaceful moments brushing our gentle micro and mini Highlands — a favorite for kids and adults alike. They adore getting treats too!
Whether you’re visiting to pick the perfect pumpkin or to fall in love with our fuzzy new friends, we’re honored to share our farm with you. It’s our mission to create a place where families can make memories, learn about animals, and reconnect with nature.
Come celebrate over a century of tradition — and the beginning of something small, special, and wonderfully new. Our cow/calf visits are available by appt only.
